o All our cakes are hand baked, so approximate dimensions and
weights may differ slightly with each cake.
o
We use only premium quality ingredients for our cakes and icings, such as
French Valrhona chocolate, pure French butter Elle Et Vire, Madagascar Bourbon
Vanilla, etc
o Our cakes
freeze well up to one month, with correct packing. We offer a service where we
will wrap your cake for freezing - please indicate on the order form. All you
have to do is to put it in the freezer when you return home. Do not take the
cake out of it's wrapping before you are ready to decorate or eat. Defrost in
wrapping at room temperature for 2-3 hours. (NB: please take sensible
precautions to prevent cross contamination, eg, do not put the wrapped cake in
contact with meats, etc. We cannot be responsible for incorrect storage or
defective freezers that may affect the cake.
o As a
general rule, our cakes stay fresh at room temperature up to 3 days.
o We do not
recommend that you refrigerating the cakes as this may dry them out. If you wish
to do so, keeping the cake in it's box and wrapping the box in clingfilm may
help.
o Given the
nature of our production process, any product could contain traces of
ingredients used in other products. These ingredients include but are not
limited to tree nuts, peanuts, chocolate, and flour(gluten).

By placing an order with B-I-Y Pte Ltd, you are agreeing
to these terms.
Payment Policy
How Do I Make Payment?
o We make
it really easy to order and make payment for our cakes - Pay upon collection at
the store. (certain conditions apply if you are an enrolled student and wish to
take advantage of your 5%
discount student benefit) We reserve the right to request for payment
first before accepting your order for all cakes 10" and above, or for purchases
of cakes and icings totalling $40 and above.
o We accept
cash, nets and credit card at the store.
o We also
accept the following payment modes for pre-payments:
a) Pay by Mail: Mail your
cheque (please write your name, telephone number, email address and class
details in back of cheque) to The Bake It Yourself Store, 182 Bukit Timah Road,
Ground Floor, Singapore 229853. Cheques should be made payable to B-I-Y Pte Ltd.
b) Pay by Internet Banking:
Transfer payment directly to our UOB account #130-313-928-7, Bank Code: 7375,
Branch Code: 030. Please identify yourself by putting in your name in the
transaction. Unidentified payments will not be entertained and we cannot refund
such payments as the bank is unable to identify the payee
c) Payment via Paypal: If you
can't come to the store, you can pay by paypal. All we need from you is your
email address. We'll send you a paypal invoice, and once you make payment, your
order is confirmed. (additional charges may apply for this mode of payment)
Conditions for Full
Payment for Order Confirmation
o Full
pre-payment is required for all orders placed in person at the Store.
o Full
payment is required for orders for 10" and above cakes, or for all orders
totalling $40.00 and above. We will proceed with your order when payment is
received. Please order at least 5 days in advance in additional to the 3 working
days order leadtime to cater for the time needed for us to receive your order
o We
reserve the right to require full pre-payment before accepting orders, in some
circumstances.'
ORDER & COLLECTION
o You will
receive an acknowledge of your order via Tel, Email or SMS, with your order
number at most one day after submitting your order. If you do not receive this
confirmation after 24 hours, please call us at 6-100-2253 or email us at
shop@B-I-Y.com
o Please
provide your order number, name and contact number for easy reference when
collecting
o If you
need to change your order after it has been placed, we will try our best to
accommodate your request as long as we have not produced or prepared your order.
All requests must be made by phone (+65 6-100-2253). Please give us your order
number when making your request. We will confirm the change by phone or email.
No-shows On Collection
Date
o As our
products are baked fresh, you need to collect on the accepted collection date to
fully experience optimum texture, taste and moisture.
o For
orders where you pay upon collection, please understand that we trust you to
collect your cake on your chosen collection date. Should you not collect your
cakes at the appointed date, it will be taken note of and we will require full
payment for your future orders before confirming your orders. You will also be
asked to make payment for the uncollected order.
CANCELLATION
o Our cakes
and other food products are made to order. Orders therefore cannot be cancelled
once the cake has been made. However, should you wish to change your order
please contact us immediately and we will do our best to meet your needs. If you
do not receive an acknowledgement to your request, pleae telephone us to check.
GENERAL TERMS
o All
prices are in Singapore dollars and inclusive of the prevailing GST
o B-I-Y Pte
Ltd reserves the right to change prices without notice.
o B-I-Y Pte
Ltd shall not be liable for any consequential loss of the customer whether this
arises from a breach of contract or any other way
o In the
event of cancellation or change of order, we reserve the right to charge a
handling fee to cover administrative costs or in some circumstances we may
require a non-refundable deposit
o Please
note edible or foodstuff items are non-returnable. Please be sure of what you
purchase - if you are in doubt ask us before ordering.
o Cakes
must be checked and shall be deemed accepted if no errors/discrepancies are
raised immediately upon collection.
