Customer Information - corporate sales

If you have any queries regarding corporate sales and special orders, please email sales@b-i-y.com. Do not call our Store with this query as our Retail Staff will have little knowledge about corporate products and procedures. Please refer all questions to our sales office at sales@b-i-y.com.

B-I-Y Corporate Mailing List: If you run a bakery (whether shop based or home based), restaurant, cafe, retail store etc and wish to join the BIY Corporate Customers Mailing List, please email us at sales@b-i-y.com.

Chrismtas Orders: We are now open for Christmas orders. Last date for Christmas order submission is 1 October 2008, for estimated pickup in mid to end November.All Corporate orders for Christmas will close after 1 October 2008.

Price Lists: We do not believe in paper catalogs as they are not environmentally friendly. Our price lists are downloadable and may be used as order forms. We have 2 different Price Lists, and you may select the one that is relevant to you:

1) Customer Price List - this price list covers most of our products sold in our store.

2) Corporate Price List - this price list is targeted for businesses who purchase at larger quantities.

3) Catalog for Specially Indent Items - coming soon!

Corporate Offerings: We sell various products for businesses.

1) Bakeries, Cafes, Restaurants, Home Bakeries - please see our Corporate Price List for items that are specifically packed for bulk use.

2) Retailers and resellers - Most products are available for sale to resellers as B-I-Y is a wholesaler as well. Please email sales@b-i-y.com for further discussion. To qualify for Reseller Prices, minimum order of S$1,000.00 is required per order.

a) Products currently available in-store - please see our Customer Price List. Prices listed on this list are retail prices. Please email sales@b-i-y.com for Reseller Prices

b) Products not stocked by the Store. Order by indent only. These products will be featured on our up and coming Product Catalog for Indent Order.

Price Updates: Prices on our price lists, website and catalogs are subject to change without notification.

Estimated Order Lead Time: All items for corporate sales are on indent basis, order leadtime is approximately 2 months.

Order and Payment Procedure for Local Orders Only

Please note that all local orders are self-collect. For international orders, please see this link for international sales

1) Download and complete the Corporate Price List.

2) Attach complete order list and email to sales@b-i-y.com. Include the following information:

            a) your name

            b) contact number

            c) email address

We will do the following upon receiving your email / order:

1) Upon receipt of your email with your order list, an acknowledgement email reply will be sent to you. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 2 working days, please resubmit your order as this would mean that we did not receive your original email.

2) Our acknowledgement email will merely acknowledge receipt of your email. We will then check our stocks and email an invoice to you showing total order.

Payment Method:

For local orders, we require 50% payment as confirmation of your order. Once we receive your 50% payment, we will email acknowledgement to you and will consider your order as confirmed. We will contact you once your order is ready for collection. The remaining 50% payment is due upon collection of your order from the Store, which must be paid personally at the Store by cash or nets. If you wish to pay by cheque or internet banking for the remaining 50% payment, we must receive your payment before collection. Once payment is received, we will inform you via email and will release your order.

We accept the following modes of payment:

1) Pay by cash or nets: Our Store accepts both cash and nets if you wish to make payment personally.

2) Pay by Mail: Simply mail your cheque with your name, telephone number, email address and the purpose of the payment to The Bake It Yourself Store, 182 Bukit Timah Road, Ground Floor, Singapore 229853. Cheques should be made payable to B-I-Y Pte Ltd. Please allow at least 3 working days lead time to your cheque to reach us. We will contact you once we receive your cheque. If you do not hear from us by the 5th day, please call the Store at 6-100-BAKE (2253). Please write your name, contact number and invoice number at the back of your cheque.

3) Pay by Internet Banking: You may transfer payment from your account directly to our UOB account #130-313-928-7, Bank Code: 7375, Branch Code: 030. It is of utmost importance that you identify yourself by putting in your name in the transaction. Unidentified payments will not be entertained and we cannot refund such payments as the bank is unable to identify the payee. After your have made your transfer, please email us at sales@b-i-y.com to inform us of your transfer, indicating your name, contact number, email address and invoice number. Please allow at least 3 working days for your payment to be transfered to us. We will contact you once we receive your cheque. If you do not hear from us by the 5th day, please email us. Please do not call the Store to enquire as store personnel will not be aware of your payments via internet banking.

Food Products: All products are not guaranteed or insured against weather related or transportation damage. For fragile items, we recommend that you order more than actually required in case of breakage.

Order Cancellations Or Changes: Once we have received your first 50% payment as order confirmation, no cancellations or order changes will be allowed. There will be no refund for your 50% payment as we would have already proceeded with confirming our order to our supplier on your behalf and will therefore be unable to stop production without forfeit.
