Countries We Deliver To: We deliver to all countries and locations that DHL delivers to.

 

Tracking Your Shipment: To monitor the status of your shipments easily, click on DHL Singapore Link and input your shipment's airway bill number under "Track Your Shipment".

 

Delivery Charges: We use DHL for all our international shipments. Delivery charges are determined by weight, box size and delivery address. If you have an account with an international courier and wish to use your own courier, please inform us when you make your order. We will then just inform you when the items are ready for collection, and then you can tell your courier to pick up at our location. There will be no charge for delivery in such cases as you will pay your courier separately. You will also arrange your own insurance with your courier.

 

Handling Fee: Estimated to be 2% - 5% of total cost or S$5, whichever is higher. Our handling fee varies for each order, depending on amount of administrative work required in processing your order and preparing your package for shipment, as well as packaging materials used etc. Rest assured that we do not make a profit from handling fees as we charge only for work done and materials used.

 

Shipping Insurance: All deliveries must be insured against theft, loss and damage.  We do our best to pack your parcel carefully, but damage does occur sometimes, and some products are just more fragile and susceptible to damage than others. The cost of insurance is SGD$30.00 for value of $1000 and below. The entire cost of insurance goes directly to DHL, we do not profit from it in any way.

 

Payment Method: We will send your shipment only upon rceipt of full payment, based on our invoice. Please email us once you have made payment and we will keep an eye out for your payment. We accept the following modes of payment:

1) Pay by Mail: This mode of payment is only for customers with a Singapore bank account. Simply mail your cheque with your name, telephone number, email address and the purpose of the payment to The Bake It Yourself Store, 182 Bukit Timah Road, Ground Floor, Singapore 229853. Cheques should be made payable to B-I-Y Pte Ltd. Please allow at least 3 working days lead time to your cheque to reach us. We will contact you once we receive your cheque. If you do not hear from us by the 5th day, please call the Store at 6-100-BAKE (2253).

2) Pay by e Banking / Direct Bank-In: "e Banking / Direct Bank-In" here is defined as direct transfer of payment between two Singapore banks. This mode of payment is only applicable for customers with a Singapore bank account. If you do not have a Singapore bank account, please see the third mode of payment below: "Telegraphic Transfer". Kindly do not select the "e Banking / Direct Bank-In" mode of payment if your bank account is not a Singapore bank account. If you have any queries regarding this, kindly clarify with your bank before confirming your transfer.

You may transfer payment from your Singapore bank account directly to our UOB account #130-313-928-7, Bank Code: 7375, Branch Code: 030. It is of utmost importance that you identify yourself by putting in your name in the transaction. Unidentified payments will not be entertained and we cannot refund such payments as the bank is unable to identify the payee. After your have made your transfer, please fax (at +65 65127755) or email the bank confirmation slip to us at sales@b-i-y.com (for sales related payments) or class@b-i-y.com (for class fee payments) , indicating your name, contact number, email address and the purpose of  the payment. Please allow at least 3 working days for your payment to be transferred to us. We will contact you once we receive your payment. If you do not hear from us by the 5th day, please email us. Please do not call the Store to enquire as store personnel will not be aware of your payments via internet banking. Kindly also note that there may be nominal bank charges (around S$2.00) for such a mode of payment if your bank account is not UOB.

3) Pay by Telegraphic Transfer: This is for international sales, for customers who do not have a Singapore Bank Account. Please elect to pay all TT bank charges (for outgoing and incoming), when making your TT order. Otherwise, our bank will deduct the TT charges from your total payment, and your shipment will be further delayed as you will need to make another payment to us to make-up the shortfall.

Duties and Taxes: We do not include any tax charges in our total charge. We do not charge our customers Singapore's Goods and Services Tax of 7%. Please note however, that it is possible that your local customs office may charge you your country's local taxes upon delivery.

 

Rejected or returned shipment: Should your parcel be refused at destination, be undeliverable, or have any address error, the shipper will return the parcel to us. Upon receipt, we will try to contact you by email. A refund less 20% restocking fee, less original shipping, less return shipping charges, less insurance (if applicable) and less Telegraphic Transfer bank charges (if applicable) will be issued to you.

 

Food Products: All food products are shipped at your own risk and are not guaranteed or insured against weather related damage.

 

Customs at Destination: Your shipment may be stopped by the customs of your country for inspection, and may therefore be delayed.

 

Duties and Taxes at Destination: Further duties, taxes, etc may be charged to you by your country when your shipment arrives You will need to pay those charges before you can receive your shipment.
