Students have been asking us to design a comprehensive cookie baking and decorating course where students can start the course as absolute baking and decorating novices, and complete the course as intermediate level cookie decorators. So we have developed this fully hands-on ultimate cookie baking and decorating course incorporating everything you've always wanted to know about the secrets of how to use cookie cutters best to get that perfectly cut and shaped cookie, what to look out for in cookie recipes to produce the right kind of cookie dough for cutting cookie shapes, tips to roll the dough perfectly and bake the perfect sharply cut cookie. We know how important it is to get the base just right so your cookie is ready for decorating! Once you've got the perfectly cut, smooth cookies, the next step is the best! Let loose your creative juices and start decorating! But wait, before you can do that, you need to learn the basics of a few techniques, then you can use them by themselves, or combine them in whatever combination of techniques, colours, icing mediums you can think of, for the ultimate decorated cookie! We incorporate many cookie decorating techniques in this course, to equip you with the necessary expertise so you turn your imaginings into reality!

Class Details: Fee: S$175.00 per student (fully hands-on) Class Duration: 7.5 hours Pre-requisite: None
First Part (2.5 hours) - Fully hands on baking We will concentrate on fully hands on baking for Day one. The recipe that you will be using has been specially selected for their delicious taste and for shaping, as not all cookie recipes can be used to cut and shape cookies as a base or palette for iced decorations. Students will also be given bonus recipes to try at home.
Second Part (5 hours) - Fully hands on decorating Different techniques and effects will be taught in Day Two, using various icing mediums (glazes, royal icing, rolled fondant). Students will learn how to make their own various icings. Special techniques like stain glass effect, gilding, flooding, applique, stenciling, texturing, piping, embossing will be taught and done in class.
Students are required to bring the following items for the class (items with * may be purchased at the Store)

We recommend that all personal items brought to class be labeled to prevent loss. We are not responsible for lost items.
