We provide as much data and product information as possible (links are provided with each Kenwood product on our website, and the same  information is provided in the Kenwood catalogs at the store. Our staff will try our best to answer your questions, but we seek your understanding that should we be unable to answer, we will take your contact details and will get back to you within a few days.

Student Ordering and Purchasing Procedures

1. The Bake It Yourself Store does not stock Kenwood products. Students must order these products via our order form. All pricing and Kenwood product information can also be browsed from our website. 2. Full payment must be made upon order. Please allow us 14 days for processing of your order.

You may order in 2 ways (to be eligible for student discount, you must either order & make payment on the day of your class, or collect your order on the day of your class - more information in this link: B-I-Y Student Kenwood Purchases Procedure):

a) Mail in order form with check

When you order form and check is received at the store, our customer service staff will email an acknowledgement of receipt to you (please ensure that you write your details clearly, in block). When the item is ready for pickup, we will again email or call you.

Upon collection, we will give you a receipt of your purchase.

b) Fill in order form at the store and make full payment via cash / nets.

Upon full payment, you will be given a receipt. When the item is ready for pickup, we will call or email you.

It is imperative that you bring your receipt when you collect your Kenwood purchase. We regret that we will not be able to release the item to you without a receipt.

 

Procedure for Replacement of Factory Defects

1. Products are eligible for replacement only if they fulfill the following conditions:

a) Defective product is recognised as a factory defect by staff of B-I-Y Pte Ltd and Kenwood Singapore. No replacement will be allowed if defect is deemed to be user inflicted.

b) Defective product must be returned with Store Receipt, complete and original Kenwood packaging and complete parts.

c) Defective product must be returned to the store within 7 days of collection.

Our staff require time to carefully check defective items brought in for replacement requests. We ask for your patience and understanding as we need to be thorough and meticulous. This process may take at least 15 - 30 minutes, especially if the store is crowded.

2. Please allow us 14 days processing time for replacement, once product is confirmed as a factory defect.

3. Once the item is ready for collection, our customer service staff will contact you.

 

Terms and Conditions

1. A warranty card will be given to you upon collection of your order. Please complete it and mail it to the address on the card. All repairs must be directed to the address on the warranty card. The Store cannot forward your warranty card  nor any Kenwood products requiring repairs to Kenwood on your behalf.

2. All Kenwood products sold are not eligible for returns or refunds from BIY. Only factory defects can be returned for a one-on-one replacement.

3. Defective Kenwood products must be returned to the Store within 7 days of purchase, with the Store receipt, complete and original packaging and complete parts. Defective products are defined as products with factory defects.

4. B-I-Y Pte Ltd reserves the right to reject requests for replacement if the defective product does not meet the conditions for replacement.

5. Kenwood Singapore's decision is final.
